He looks up from his entirely too jumbled and disconnected plans attempting to cut through the pounding headache. "I- Maybe?"

He feels even more awkward now, this thumb swiping at a smudge on the comm screen. "Thank you though, really. I've had to carry someone unconscious and I can't imagine its any easier when they're dead. I appreciate the effort, and sticking around to talk." He'd have to do this sometime later too, in better circumstances.

"It was really nice to finally meet you."

And he'd totally forgotten about it, which is fine by him since it's definitely not quite so hot any more. He makes a point to pick it up, won't forget it if he's holding it, though he probably won't be making any calls, it's a nice gesture.
