[In a very serious, business tone, Abel's answering machine sounds after any attempted calls that aren't responded to right away.]
You've reached Abel. I am not available at the moment, but I'll get back to you as soon as I can. If this is urgent, leave the line open.
And if this is Fitz I hope you're having a good day.

Geez, people can be really weird about weapons sometimes. It's literally only so our ship doesn't take apart your ship when we meet next! That's it. Sorry to hear you're catching flak for that.

Date: 2024-10-22 06:07 pm (UTC)You are right though. We're just playing a game our respective commanders want us to play. It's...unfortunate, if I'm being honest. I didn't really want to be in this position again, and yet here I am.
I think perhaps it's a bit of exaggeration on one side, my being a warden on the other. Preventative measures apparently mean the same as wearing my dirty work boots in the newly cleaned kitchen floors. I'll be fine though. I'm just...a little tired of it, to be honest. If and when the Barge gets back, I'll quietly go, I just hope the Cap'n allows that.
