I had a friend on standby for medical emergencies, we're fine...but I think that Tendi might have been a little more aggressive in her approach than we originally agreed due to the sudden escalation.

I have a list for you, but I never said anything regarding your involvement, and I don't intend to. Your assistance has been much appreciated.

And thanks for keeping me out of it. I don't want anyone getting hurt or interrogated over me, though. I'll probably be found out eventually, after all. And I am doing this to try to find something better for the rest of my crew. We'll just have to see if/when it comes out, if they'll listen to reason.

I was a soldier before I was recruited by the Admiral, you're a civilian, I'm not going to throw you in the line of fire just because I'm taking heat for something I knew was a risk.

If you get compromised let me know, but I haven't even mentioned your involvement to my small group. It's better that way, and most of them aren't the kind to go picking fights with nonviolent strangers, but if you do get hassled, let me know and I'll see what I can do about it.

I hope they do for your sake because apparently there are a few people on my side who think that easily repairable property damage if you have the notes to fix it is an unforgivable sin.

[He will send his notes over though, the file neat and orderly with drawn out layouts of the gun decks, descriptions of the tampering that was done, how to fix them.]

Geez, people can be really weird about weapons sometimes. It's literally only so our ship doesn't take apart your ship when we meet next! That's it. Sorry to hear you're catching flak for that.

You are right though. We're just playing a game our respective commanders want us to play. It's...unfortunate, if I'm being honest. I didn't really want to be in this position again, and yet here I am.

I think perhaps it's a bit of exaggeration on one side, my being a warden on the other. Preventative measures apparently mean the same as wearing my dirty work boots in the newly cleaned kitchen floors. I'll be fine though. I'm just...a little tired of it, to be honest. If and when the Barge gets back, I'll quietly go, I just hope the Cap'n allows that.
